How do we read narratives? How do we reflect on this technology that is reading? What do short stories and animee have in common? We will seek to answer these and other questions in this class by reading a range of stories, mostly short, and by attending to the narrative properties of these stories as well as to our selves as readers. Textbook: xeroxed reader will be available at Gaoguan.

Requirements:
