中大藝文中心 The Art Center of NCU

The art center was founded in 1995 with the purpose of improving the quality of life of the university community as well as the larger Chung-Li community. To fulfill the artistic needs of the population both within the university and in the Chung-Li community, the art center regularly features exhibitions on various forms of art. Regular exhibitions include oil painting, watercolor, comics, photography, sculpture, pottery, and Chinese calligraphy.

In addition, the art center provides a wholesome guiding system for the visitors. Each visitor is allowed to learn about the backgrounds of the authors, their motives, thoughts, and similar art history information through videos, catalogues, and even a face-to-face introduction from the assistants of the art center. Moreover, the center also invites famous domestic and international artists to be campus resident artists. This is to enhance the standard of the Art Center and to create more opportunities for our students to interact with various artistic workers.

In short, the art center is one of the main organizations in our schools that solely work on the popularization and research of fine arts. It is our goal to cultivate and serve both the university and the off-campus community.
