Here we are at the Pinecone’s Yard Cafe. The name is taken from a unique sight on this campus. If you would look up, you will see these trees stretching along the roadside are pine trees. And they are always loaded with pinecones. That’s how this coffee shop got its name: the Pinecone’s Yard.
The coffee shop is designed to not only provide coffees to perk you up in the mornings and afternoons, and a quick bite in between classes or during short lunch breaks, but also to bring students together for a leisurely chat with the many international students on campus who often stop here for coffee. Special lighting is arranged for nighttime which creates a very romantic atmosphere. Try it for yourself if you are free at night. You will truly enjoy it.
