In this course, I have had lots of opportunities to do oral training exercises. Through the process, I learned not only how to speak but also how to listen to other people』s presentations which broadened my views a lot.  Most importantly, I can learn about my shortcomings when I see how excellently my teacher and classmates delivered their speeches.

I have learned how to use the most appropriate words and phrases and sentences, how to describe things and events roundly but briefly, and how to speak methodical and beautiful language.  And to achieve these, I am required to do lots of homework and train myself with my teacher』s help.  I think I have learned to organize for good demonstrative interviews and speeches, and even imitate the way jo talks.

And to provide correct information in my performances (includeing interviews and discussions and tour guides), we have to search and collect materials from various sources.  I have gained a lot of vocabulary this semester.  Some of them are really useful and also interesting.  I learned to say counterfeit bags instead of fake bags.  In this class I learned things that can be used in both formal and casual situations.

But what I still lack is thoughtfulness and seriousness.  I used to go the easiest short cut and avoid and ignore what I consider to be the boring part.  But that will only make me a more boring person if I can』t improve myself.  And I will never make improvement in many aspects of my own life if I devote less time and less effort to it.
