我想，這就是一種幸福.
進入40歲的第一天，阿明在一家咖啡館喝了一下午的咖啡，牛奶、糖、咖啡在杯子裡交融。
阿明用湯匙攪拌著，他想： 「一個月又過去了，做為汽車銷售店的店長，衝刺了一整月之後，所有的數字又再次歸零，明天又是新的一天；而明天是我40歲的第二天，日子又要進入新的循環？又要開始為新的數字衝刺？
I think this is a kind of happiness.
On his fortieth birthday, A-min spent a whole afternoon drinking coffee, watching the cream, the sugar and coffee mix in his cup.
A-min stirred with a spoon, pondering: 『A month has passed. As the manager of a car dealer, I have been working hard for a whole month. Yet, the sales figure will start from zero again tomorrow. Am I going to watch my life enter another cycle tomorrow, striving to reach a new sales figure?」

喝完40歲的第一天的咖啡，阿明在40歲的第二天遞出辭呈，辭去月入新臺幣十多萬的工作，老闆問他是否另有高就？阿明說：沒有高就，明天開始，我到咖啡店去端盤子、洗杯子，換一種生活方式。
老闆睜大了眼睛看他，以為他在說笑話。阿明留下一張咖啡屋的名片，請老闆有空來喝咖啡，「那不是我的店，我只是去洗杯子而已」。阿明再次說明。
Finishing the first coffee of his fortieth year, A-min delivered the resignation letter the next day, leaving a job with a monthly income of NT$100,000. The boss asked if there was another better job available. A-min said: 『Not at all. I am going to a coffee shop to collect dishes and wash cups tomorrow. I want a change of life.」
Staring at A-min with his eyes wide-open, the boss thought A-min was just kidding. But A-min left the boss the name card of a coffee shop and invited his boss to come over and visit when he had time. 『That is not my shop, I just do the dishes there,』 A-min added again. 

然後，阿明洗了一年多的杯子，同時，也學了一整年煮咖啡的技術，所有的朋友都發現他瘦了。阿明笑著說：「因為我身體裡面有一個夢慢慢消化了，所以就瘦了。」
阿明以前很胖的時候，總是自我調侃的說：「因為我懷著一個很大的夢，所以，我就變得很胖，一天，當我瘦下來的時候，就是我的夢生出來的時候。」
阿明的夢就是開一家咖啡館，最近，他在臺北一條熱鬧街道的巷子裡，自己佈置了一個17世紀感覺的咖啡館，30張桌子，就他一個人忙著，在古典音樂中煮咖啡，在胡桃木椅子之間穿梭，在咖啡香裡和顧客聊天。
Since then, A-min spent a year washing cups and learning the skills of brewing coffer in the coffee shop. All his friends noticed that he had lost a lot of weight. A-min told them with a smile, 『I got slim because I am realizing a dream that had been stuck in my body all these years.』
A-min used to be quite fat, and he would joke about himself, 『I am fat because I am conceiving a big dream, and one day when I become slim, that』s the day I give birth to my dream.』
His dream was to open a coffee shop. Lately, in the quiet alley of a busy street, A-min opened a coffee shop decorated in 17th century style with 30 tables. Brewing coffee in the background of classical music, busying himself among the walnut chairs, and chatting with customers in the fragrance of coffee, A-min ran the shop all by himself.

高高瘦瘦的阿明每天都過得好開心。
有一天，當我走進他的咖啡館，他輕聲的說：「你正走在我夢裡，請放慢腳步，輕輕走，我們這裡是17世紀，不必趕時間」。
阿明從一個汽車銷售員變成一個咖啡館的老闆，他在名片上印了一句歐洲藝術家的話：「我不在家，就在咖啡館；不在咖啡館，就在去咖啡館的路上」
Tall slim A-min was happy every day. 
One day, I walked into his coffee shop. A-min whispered to me, 『You are walking into my dream. Please slow down your paces and walk softly. We are in 17th century, there is no rush.』
A-min has changed from a car salesman to a coffee shop owner. He printed on the shop』s name card one phrase borrowed from a European artist: 『If I am not home, I am in the coffee shop; if I am not in the coffee shop, I am on my way there. 』

人對成功的定義是不同的，但只要能做自己想做的事，且堅持到底...我想，這就是一種幸福
The definition of success varies form one person to another. Just do what you want to do and stick with it…I think this is a kind of happiness.
