This is a professional seminar that trains students in the art of public speaking and PR service. Special emphasis will be put on the planning and organizing of materials for effective communication and presentation. Registered students are required to serve as members of the English PR Team for the duration of the course. We will first familiarize ourselves with existing materials on the Team』s website and then work on supplementing the uncovered territories. Students can expect to practice speaking English loudly in the presence of crowds and to perform at formal functions such as international conferences or receptions. Small groups will be formed to work on special projects. Basic requirements for grade consideration include: weekly presentations, conscientious efforts, and notable progress.
