2011口譯實務與練習 心得 - 化材系 陳睿怡 Becky

I've never had the idea of being an interpreter, so I knew so little about it. I always thought that it was just a translator. After the class, I learned that it was much more than a translator.

Interpreter is a tough work. It requires a good command of English (or other languages) and the ability to sum up the information within a short time. It takes lots of time to practice, and it is challenging. It also plays an important role in all kinds of meetings, especially diplomatic meetings. I think that an Interpreter is an admiring job! And also, it's interesting!

Although I still have no intention to become an interpreter, this lesson encouraged me to improve my English. I hope that my English can be as good as an interpreter.
