Letter of complaint

Dear Sir:

I have now received my shipment (thank you) but have a serious complaint concerning this one.

My friend from New York hand-carried the packages for me all the way, since I could only meet her at the airport for a little while to get the shipment.  Upon opening the boxes and original product packaging, I found at least seven bottles, situated in separate but all three boxes, had leaked.  With this kind of leakage rate, the original bottling or packaging must be suffering from some kind of serious design defect.  I have not had any experience like this with my previous shipments and I am writing to make a formal complaint.  Thank you for your attention.
