This is a talking class. Class time is divided among three activities designed to help you improve your language skills. First, we will devote one hour to individual presentations on specific readings that students will prepare beforehand. Presentations should not go over 2 minutes and should be both interesting and profound. The second hour will be devoted to pronunciation practices. Materials assigned should be read aloud before class so as to demonstrate familiarity with details of rhythm and intonation in class. In the third hour, students will watch video materials that will expose them to a variety of topics and vocabulary items. Grades depends solely upon class performance.
